Who We Are

New Day Family Church was established as Hillsboro Christian Faith Center in February 2000 in Hillsboro Oregon by a group of people who love God and have a vision for the community, reaching people with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord for His abundant grace and mercy to us through these first 19 years and into the future!

We are a Bible based, Spirit filled, Word of Faith church. We know that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and it is the foundation for our lives (2 Timothy 3:16). We know that walking in the Spirit is a daily necessity not done in our own strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit; in doing so we are able to produce His fruit in our lives (Galatians 5:22-26). We know that hearing the Word of God fresh every day increases our faith, for we know it is faith that pleases God (Romans 10:17 and Hebrews 11:6).

Something else that we would love for you to know "About Us" here at New Day is that we know that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that no one comes before the Father God in any other way (John14:6). Jesus is the Way to an eternity in heaven with God the Father. Jesus is the Truth that our souls hunger and thirst for. Jesus is the Life and gave Himself for our sins so that we could live life in personal relationship with God.
